When we recently surveyed our Euka families, social challenges and bullying emerged as the primary catalyst for choosing alternative education. This aligns with concerning national trends, as reported by Australia’s eSafety Commissioner, showing there was a 37% increase in actionable cyberbullying complaints by young people in the past year.
The Current Landscape:
These statistics reflect a growing need for alternative educational approaches that prioritise student wellbeing alongside academic achievement. As Australia’s leading homeschool education provider, we understand that every family’s journey is unique, particularly when navigating social challenges in traditional educational settings.
Our Approach:
At Euka, we’ve developed a comprehensive support system that begins with understanding each family’s specific needs. Our extensive resource library includes detailed guides for every stage of the homeschooling journey, from initial registration through to senior school completion and beyond. We’ve created dedicated curriculum and learning support resources, ensuring families have access to work samples, subject guides, and examination information when they need it.
Supporting Your Journey:
The transition to homeschooling should feel manageable and supported. That’s why we’ve developed state-specific guidance for every Australian region, complemented by our Premium Government Report Creator service. This practical support ensures families can focus on what matters most – their child’s education and wellbeing.

Personalised Learning:
We understand that every student learns differently. Through our integrated learning platforms students can engage with the curriculum in ways that suit their individual needs. Our specialised support extends to gifted students, those needing extra support and everyone in–between, ensuring every learner can progress at their optimal pace.
Future Pathways:
The Assessed / University Pathway guides students through their final years of secondary education while refining the skills necessary for university success. The program focuses on preparing students for the rigour of higher education, offering them coursework aligned with Australian curriculum standards. As part of their studies, students will delve deeper into specialised subjects, honing their research, analytical, and academic writing abilities. This pathway supports direct university entry to leading Australian universities including but not limited to; Deakin, Griffith, La Trobe, RMIT, Southern Cross, Swinburne, University of Tasmania and the University of Canberra.
The Assessment-Free pathway with Euka offers a flexible and enriching educational experience for students who want to complete their senior year without the pressure of university entry results. This version of the program still delivers the same comprehensive and well-rounded curriculum aligned with Australian educational standards, ensuring that students acquire a solid foundation in key subjects. However, it removes the formal assessments, allowing students to focus on learning for personal growth, skill development, and future career exploration without the need to meet specific academic performance requirements.
Ongoing Support:
Our dedicated Parent and Student Portals combined with our Student Success Team ensure families have access to continuous support throughout your educational journey.
Our Future Learners Podcast 🔗, hosted by our CEO Brett Campbell and Head of Education Ellen Brown, explores contemporary educational challenges and solutions, featuring engaging and insightful discussions on the key topics shaping homeschooling education today.
The Verdict:
While the eSafety Commissioner’s statistics highlight concerning trends in traditional education, they also emphasise the importance of having viable alternatives. Hence the explosion in homeschooling in Australia over the last 5 years, which is why we’re seeing the same levels of homeschooling as we did in Covid. At Euka, we’re committed to providing a supportive, comprehensive educational experience that puts your child’s wellbeing first.
Ready to explore how modern homeschooling can create a safe environment and reignite a love of learning in child. Our friendly Euka team is a chat message away, ready to answer all your questions and help you discover the possibilities!
