Registration & Reporting in Queensland

Euka can help make your homeschooling registration and reporting in Queensland simple and stress free.

As in all States, homeschoolers in Queensland need to register with the Department of Education from ages 6 to 16. To begin the registration process, download and fill in your application for registration form from the Queensland Home Education Unit (HEU). This can be found by CLICKING HERE.

The homeschooling Queensland application form requires you to send in an educational plan. You need to ensure you have your full homeschooling program individualised for your child in order to send in your application for a Certificate in Home Education. Once granted, this certificate lasts 12 months. Registration is continuous however, the department will notify you when you are required to send in your reporting documentation and education learning plan for the following year. We provide all you need to make registration & reporting simple.

The Euka program includes all the subjects the Department requires: English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities and Social Science (includes: history, geography, politics and civics), The Arts (includes: visual arts, dancing and music), Health and Physical Education, Technologies, and Languages.

When using Euka we will provide you with full year documentation to include as your full year learning plans, which show when and how you will cover the Australian curriculum in every subject. We also provide you with the templates and information about how to tailor the program to fit your individual child’s needs. It is important to show how the program will be adapted.

Our team is very happy to help with this process, and we also offer the optional Euka Registration and Reporting service.

If your child has special needs we can also tailor and adapt the Euka program by providing different Grade levels for subjects that need extra support or extension.

For Queensland families, we assist you to prepare your application with all the documentation and support you need. We also provide a simple and effective way of reporting that shows excellence in your child’s education.

Disclaimer: This advice has come from our years of experience in having successfully assisted thousands of students to gain Department of Education approval, in all States of Australia. – For clarification of any aspects, please contact the Department of Education in Queensland.
