The exciting news keeps coming in 2022 at Euka!
MATHS CLUBS
As you may have noticed, we have been busy adding instructional content to the Euka Maths program. With over 3,500 new Maths lessons now online, you will be well prepared for your weekly lessons.
To complete the Maths uplift, we will be running optional online Maths Clubs for Grades 6 – 10 each Monday. Our Euka teachers will run through the Maths concepts being taught each week. This will allow students to grasp or consolidate the maths needed for the week ahead.
Let’s face it, for many of us school was some time ago and remembering how to do various mathematical calculations can be time consuming. The Euka Maths teachers are here to help!
All Maths Clubs will be recorded to ensure that you can still access it later, if you are busy or re-watch it through the week as needed. Following is the timetable and a signup form will be coming shortly.
Schedule – Each Monday:

| Grade 8 | 2:00pm – 2:30pm |
| Grade 9 | 2:45pm – 3:15pm |

SOCIAL CLUBS
Social Clubs will also return this week!!
We will continue with the popular Cooking Club, Minecraft Club and Lego Club. These clubs are a great way for the students to connect with the larger Euka community. Being part of a group working on a project or sharing what you have done during the week is a valuable part of the Euka program.
In Lego Club, students are given weekly Lego challenges and then have the opportunity to share what they created. Cooking Club provides students with a guiding cooking lesson, with plenty of chatting included, and Minecraft Club involves students creating on the Euka server or in their own space, discussing, playing and sharing together.

HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITY SHEETS
You may have noticed that New High School Activity sheets have been completed and are already found in the Term 1 programs!
These new activity sheets have been updated, reformatted and now include a fillable box for answers. They can still be printed and used offline as usual OR you can have your child type in their answers and print off work as they need.
Some may prefer to fill in answers and store them online in a folder until needed. We are eager to provide options to allow the Euka program to suit the various needs of learners.
DRIVERS EDUCATION
A reminder that we do have the Euka Drivers Education Course – Grade 9 or 10 or anyone who would like it.
We have been thrilled to see how many students have been eagerly completing the very first Australian Drivers Education course. The year-long course is FREE and allows students to learn all they need to know before getting their “L” plates. Not only the basic rules but vital extra information like how to change a tyre and what to do in the case of an accident!
If your child would like us to include the Drivers Education course on their learning portal, just let the team know and we will add it for you.
